![]() ![]() The reason Sony is launching all this stuff on a Sunday is because 11/11 is the one year anniversary of the PlayStation 3's release last year. The commercial points to various sections of the game screen as indicative of "PS3 Power." Ratchet & Clank actually has a special place in the lineup. That last commercial is for Ratchet & Clank Future, which is also launching with the 40 gigabyte system on 11/11. ![]() ![]() Ratchet & Clank Future Sony, PS3 Release: 11.11.07 The commercial campaign suggests that this is the first time many will be able to actually buy into the system. Yes, this is quite the surprise given Sony's apparent reluctance of late to advertise its product (take note of Dark Mist and Toy Home, both of which appeared out of nowhere on the PlayStation Network this week). Sony has been flooding the airwaves with commercials promoting this price drop. Koei is even bundling the game with the system and charging a full extra 10,000 yen. While the lineup has slowly grown to include such familiar names as Ridge Racer, Minna no Golf, Virtua Fighter, and Boku no Natsu Yasumi, most notable title comes out with the lower priced PS3 on 11/11: Shin Sangoku Musou 5, aka Dynasty Warriors 6.
